Autumn continues...

We have continued with Harvest and Autumn theme in some of our activities this week.

   

 We have also been learning new songs during our circle time 

to help us write numbers and draw shapes.

  

We have been using sieves in the water and sand tray to help us separate items and

painting with different types of sponges to create patterns and shapes.

     

      

      

Now that the weather is beginning to get a little colder we are also working very hard on how to dress ourselves and learning how to keep warm!

We have been listening to the song 'Put on Your Shoes' to help us.

Harvest festival

This week we have focused on Harvest and getting ready to perform our own version of the 

Dingle Dangle Scarecrow for the Harvest festival.

We have read The Scarecrows Wedding and had our own hunt round the classroom to find the vital items that were needed for the wedding!

We have been counting the right amount of spikes to clip to hedgehogs.

  And collecting as many conkers as possible in a minute!
